Why Major in Biology at OSU?
The Biology Program was created for students who wish to obtain broad, interdisciplinary training in the life sciences. The program prides itself on getting students involved early in relevant, hands-on experiences to complement their coursework and prepare them for their professional goals. Many students choose to use biology to prepare for graduate work in the life sciences or health professions.
Students interested in Biology should see the information below, as well as the first-year students information which includes AP and IB credit, OSU applications, residency, Degree Partnership Program and other issues.
