Grants or Paid Positions at OSU
OSU Howard Hughes Medical Institute Grants for Undergraduate Research (HHMI) - Each summer HHMI awards more than 40 OSU students funding for their own research including a stipend. Research projects can be anything in the life sciences at OSU from field ecology to molecular biology in a laboratory setting. Contact Dr. Kevin Ahern for more information.
Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Creativity (URISC) Grants are available each term to all OSU students to support reseach projects.
OSU A.L. Strand Memorial Scholarship in Entomology supports students of any major who are conducting research where insects/entomology plays a significant role. Contact the College of Agricultural Sciences for application information.
OSU Ralph E. Berry Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Undergraduate Research Scholarship supports juniors and seniors conducting research in the area of IPM. Contact Melodie Putnam putnamm@science.oregonstate.edu or the Botany and Plant Pathology Department for details.
