Student PINs and Advising

The registration system will not allow you to register for fall term without a PIN (personal identification number).  The following information relates to getting a PIN:

  • New students for fall must attend START to get a PIN.   New students accepted for winter or spring should contact Brock McLeod to find out about orientation times. Summer session does not require a PIN.
  • Biology students should meet their advisors as outlined in the schedule here.
  • After registering for fall term, the registration system will not require a student to enter their pin again winter or spring term unless they are in the categories below.
  • Student athletes and students with registered disabilities must meet with their advisor every term to get a new PIN.  If you are listed with any other major before Biology or have recently changed majors to Biology from a major that required a PIN each term, you may need to get a PIN in a term other than spring.  Students with some double majors or certain options (Pre-pharmacy) may in some cases need a PIN each term.
