Students Transferring Oregon Schools
Though you do not need one to transfer, interested students should review the Oregon transfer degrees.
Students planning on transferring from Oregon Community Colleges should use the appropriate College of Science Oregon Community College Transfer Guides (see below ff there is no guide for your school).
Students coming to OSU from schools in Oregon that do not have a transfer guide should follow the first two years of the four-year plan outlined on the back of the Biology Advising Checklist to determine which courses to take. Biology transfer students should take the introductory, year-long biology series for majors with a lab and should not take non-majors courses. The same is true for chemistry, physics and organic chemistry, though students should review the organic chemistry transfer policy. In general, the entire series of any science courses should be completed before transferring - many series do not work if only partially completed. Students should also use the OSU Admissions Transfer Tools to review all course articulations prior to taking courses.
