Undergraduate Travel Funding

Students traveling to professional science meetings can apply for funding from the following:

• College of Science Student Travel Award
• University Honors College "Grandma Honors" Professional Travel Award
• Many meetings offer specific funding for undergraduate students to attend.  Some will allow students to work part of the meeting instead of paying the registration fee.  Be sure to look at websites and applications carefully, and ask about alternatives.
• At times, professors that are supporting student research projects will have grant funds to support them in presenting their work.
• Some agencies and organizations where students to internships also have funding to support students attending meetings.
